There are in my opinion levels of the amount of freedom someone has. I think it will be impossible to enable people to experience high levels of freedom in the short-term. Nevertheless, we can try to improve it.
I do not know but I guess I would start first in allowing people to have the possibilities to act (for example economic means)
I think the younger generation needs to be able to voice their concerns about their autonomy, and the world more than ever. I think there needs to be a platform where our generations opinions are actually taken into account by world leaders, since at the end of the day we are the future and it's the most important for us to live in a world where everyone can flourish as themselves.
Allow each person the freedom and dignity to be who they are and to live the life they want to live. The freedom to interact with others and free access to the fundamental truths of the human condition.
I would like to have people think about others to and not only about them selves. I want peace for everyone and with everyone. So all the people on the whole world can live in freedom and do what ever they want to do. But when they do that think of other people to. That is the most important thing, that we think of others and let them to what they want in the necessary frameworks.
What I would change in the world concerning freedom, is to emphasise the eradication of censorship not only online but also legally. Being able to practice your religion safely, the freedom to want a better life, one where your dreams are not seen as lofty ideas but as tangible realities. Growing up in South Africa, I’ve seen how circumstances outside of one's control can shape a person’s future, especially for young people who feel like their dreams are too far out of reach. I want to change that.
I would like every country in the world to have the minimum set of civil liberties as in democratic countries. And advancing even further than that, because even in advanced democratic countries there is room for improvement for example regarding the fear of poverty or hunger, which both still exist in democratic countries. Hunger and Poverty are one of the most important priorities because without eradicating them, no other freedom can be pursued by the people affected. The freedom for anyone in the world to pursue one's happiness without any restrictions, is a vision that I hold on to.
I would like to know how negotiation works exactly because I think that there is a lot to change there. When it comes to accomplishing ceasefire, deals and peace between countries, I think we should be more involved.
