Treaty of Middelburg

I would strive to build more inclusive societies where all young people, regardless of their background, have equal access to education, the freedom to voice their opinions, and the chance to actively shape change in their communities.

Why do you want to participate?

Participating in this conference in the Netherlands would be an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded young people from around the world. It’s a chance to learn from different perspectives, share my own ideas, and work collaboratively to address the challenges young people face today regarding freedom.

What does freedom mean to you?

To me, freedom means being able to express myself. To me, freedom is being able to make my own choices as a young person in Europe. It’s about having the opportunity to live without fear and to have a voice in the decisions that affect you.

What are the biggest challenges?

The biggest challenges include limited access to education and opportunities, restrictions on freedom of expression (especially online), and social pressures that hinder individuality. Additionally, political instability and inequality in some regions also limit young people's sense of freedom.

Do you have a message?

One idea would be to establish more platforms where young people can actively engage in global dialogues on freedom, human rights, and social change.
