Treaty of Middelburg
I would like to create a world where freedom is truly accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs, or circumstances. This means ensuring that people can express themselves openly without fear, have equal opportunities to pursue their dreams, and live without oppression or discrimination. I want to see stronger protections for digital privacy and freedom of speech, so that young people can engage in open discussions without censorship or surveillance. Economic freedom is also crucial—access to quality education and fair job opportunities should not be limited by where someone is born. Most importantly, I want to help build a culture where freedom comes with responsibility, where people not only demand their own rights but also respect and uphold the rights of others.

Why do you want to participate?
I want to participate in the International Youth Freedom Conference to engage in meaningful discussions on freedom, collaborate with diverse perspectives, and contribute to shaping the Treaty of Middelburg. This event offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and make a lasting impact on the future of freedom and unity.
What does freedom mean to you?
To me, freedom means the ability to think, express, and act without fear, while respecting the rights of others. It is about having the opportunity to grow, make choices, and contribute to a better world. True freedom comes with responsibility—to use it wisely and to help create a society where everyone can experience it equally.
What are the biggest challenges?
One of the biggest challenges young people face today is the struggle for digital privacy and freedom of expression in an increasingly online world. With constant data tracking and surveillance, it’s becoming harder to speak openly without fear of consequences. At the same time, political and social pressures limit the ability to engage in activism or express personal beliefs in many parts of the world. Economic struggles also play a big role—without access to quality education and stable job opportunities, true independence remains out of reach for many. Misinformation and social polarization add to the challenge, making it difficult to form independent opinions or have open, respectful discussions. On top of this, discrimination based on gender, race, or background continues to restrict opportunities and limit freedom for many. Overcoming these challenges requires awareness, collective action, and a commitment to building a more open and equal society.
Do you have a message?
No, I don’t have a specific message or idea to share at this moment.
