Treaty of Middelburg
I want everyone to have the same freedom, no matter where they come from. That means making sure young people can get a good education, speak their minds without fear, and have equal opportunities. Freedom should mean that no one is held back from living the life they want (not everything of course, but things that could benefit elsewhere)

Why do you want to participate?
I want to join the International Youth Freedom Conference because I believe young people can make a real difference. I mainly also want to do it to network and meet inspiring people from around the world, share ideas, and learn from experts.
What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom means having the ability to express myself and make my own choices. It’s about fairness and making sure everyone has the same rights and opportunities too.
What are the biggest challenges?
One of the biggest challenges young people face regarding freedom today is the fact that they don't have the same and equal opportunities. Many young people have their own struggles too such as education costs, social inequality, ... which stops them from being totally free. Lastly, in some places such as important meetings in a company for example, young people still don’t have a say in important decisions, making it harder for them to create change.
Do you have a message?
Freedom isn’t just about having rights, it’s about having real chances in life so there should be more events where those people can be free and speak up
