Treaty of Middelburg
Everywhere, I would make sure that the legal system is genuinely independent. People can truly feel safe and free when the law is just and unaffected by politics, money, or special interests. It ensures that no one is above the law and defends their rights. Moreover, I would ensure that everyone had access to free education. You ought to have access to high-quality education and be able to learn anything you choose, regardless of your background or financial situation. People can grow, select their own path, and get out of poverty or difficult situations with the help of education. In addition to this, the minimum wage should, in my opinion, always be sufficient to live a decent life rather than just get by. Even with full-time jobs, many people still find it difficult to pay for necessities like food, housing, and medical care. Being able to live without ongoing financial worry is a sign of true freedom.

Why do you want to participate?
When I first heard about it, I thought it would be fun to participate in such an event; however, in the following days, in my country, Turkiye, Ekrem Imamoglu(Istanbul Mayor) got arrested just before he was going to run for president. These subsequent events show that freedom isn't where it should be. Free speech, unbiased news and media, protest rights, and more have been undermined. So, making my voice heard and participating in this event is a must.
What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom is making an environment where everyone feels safe. In this safe area, individuals can express their opinions without any oppression. Furthermore, freedom is freedom when it won't interfere with someone's freedom.
What are the biggest challenges?
Economic pressure and the cost of living restrict travel, education, independent living, and many other things for a young person.
