Treaty of Middelburg
I would change the way society pressures people to conform by promoting more acceptance of individuality. We should encourage people to think for themselves, define themselves on their own terms (not society's), be open, and explore different perspectives without fear of judgment. Instead of pushing everyone to fit into a specific mold, we should celebrate diversity.

Why do you want to participate?
I think it’s important to participate in this event because it gives young people a chance to have their voices heard on a global level. Politicians and leaders make many decisions about freedom and the future, but this event lets us directly contribute to shaping the world we want to live in. It’s also a unique opportunity to meet people from different cultures and share ideas and perspectives while learning from each other.
What does freedom mean to you?
To me, freedom means having the ability to make choices about my own life without fear, restrictions, or weighing expectations. It's about being able to change your ways and go in a different direction. It’s about feeling safe to express who you are, practice your beliefs, and follow your dreams without being judged or controlled.
What are the biggest challenges?
One of the biggest challenges is social pressure and the need to conform to society's norms. People are taught what to think, feel, and do, without having to discover that within themselves. Freedom should mean fostering an environment where people are encouraged to live authentically without fear of judgment or exclusion.
Do you have a message?
Maybe we could create a digital platform where we can continue discussing freedom even after the conference. This way we could stay connected and take action in our own communities.
