Treaty of Middelburg
I would like to contribute to the freedom of expression, since nowadays is an issue having opposite ideologies or points of views from the majorities. For the mere fact of sharing a different perspective, which the vast majority of people do not support, is a reason for censoring an individual, and I would like to change that.

Why do you want to participate?
I'm highly interested in the Youth Freedom Conference since I'm eager to deeply comprehend the way in which Treaties and Social Policies are structured. I'm passionate in understanding how the participants are, as well as the moderators, going to develop a strategy to achieve this desired freedom.
What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom means having the ability to express, behave and live without fearing a negative repercussion from another party. This idea of freedom is translated into openness and transparency in a highly politicized society.
What are the biggest challenges?
One of the biggest challenges regarding freedom for young people is the lack of freedom to obtain legitimate and true information. Nowadays, communication channels are being highly biased, polarized and even censored towards specific ideologies, which is a concerning issue, since the knowledge is not transferred in a transparent way.
Do you have a message?
During the conference, I would like to touch upon a sensitive topic, which is migration. Having the ability to move wherever you want is a privilege, but also a lot of people take that as a right. I would like to debate about the freedom of mobility and to what extent this freedom becomes into a right.
