Treaty of Middelburg
I’d make sure that everyone has access to unbiased information and education, no matter where they’re from or who they are. Knowledge is power, and as long as misinformation and censorship exist, true freedom is out of reach.

Why do you want to participate?
Because it brings people together who care about freedom. It’s inspiring, a chance to learn from each other, and a way to turn ideas into action. Plus, it’s always good to actively engage with something that truly matters.
What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom is being able to be yourself without fear of oppression or discrimination. It’s about having the power to make your own choices and allowing others to do the same. Being able to speak up, live without unnecessary restrictions, and stand up for what’s right—that’s real freedom.
What are the biggest challenges?
People often say young people have endless opportunities, but freedom isn’t just about possibilities—it’s also about access, safety, and equality. Issues like online surveillance, pressure from social media, and discrimination still limit how free we really are. Freedom isn’t a given; sometimes, you have to fight for it.
Do you have a message?
Young people have great ideas, but they don’t always have a platform to be heard. More accessible initiatives where young people can actively influence policies and decisions—not just be part of the conversation—would make a real difference.
