Why do you want to participate?

In an age where more and more of the basic rights once held sacred are undermined by governments and private entities, it is important to remind ourselves of what those before us fought for and what we must fight for today.

What does freedom mean to you?

Freedom is to be permitted to live a life without fear of expressing what you believe in, and to hold the right to challenge those that would harm that right.

What are the biggest challenges?

Never before in history has misinformation been so easily created and propagated. The young's right to the truth and our freedom of thought is strangled by censorship and algorithms designed to keep us angry and distracted. Universities and other educational facilities are having their funding cut. This means that less young people will have the opportunities to reach as far as they as they should be able to. The right to live a better life than our parents and to give a better life to our children is being taken. Nationalism and populism is driving nations apart. The connectedness and freedom of movement that we used to enjoy are under threat and will lead to a more isolated and hostile world.

Do you have a message?

Allow people to talk, and you allow them to understand each other, and you will allow them to live in peace.
