Treaty of Middelburg
I would work on making the future feel more accessible and engaging for young people. Many of us are eager to be involved in shaping tomorrow, but the way decision-making processes are structured often makes participation unappealing or difficult. By making discussions on global and societal issues more approachable and interactive, we can ensure that more young voices are heard and taken seriously.

Why do you want to participate?
I believe this event is both valuable and exciting because it provides a platform for us to voice our thoughts on the kind of future and freedom we aspire to have. Beyond that, it is an incredible opportunity to connect with young individuals from different backgrounds, broadening our perspectives on the world and its current challenges. Meeting like-minded people and engaging in meaningful discussions can help shape a more inclusive and open-minded future.
What does freedom mean to you?
For me, freedom means living without unnecessary restrictions—being able to think, speak, and act according to my own beliefs without fear of repression. It is about having the ability to voice my concerns and ideas while feeling secure in doing so. True freedom is not just about making choices but also about having a society that respects and protects those choices.
What are the biggest challenges?
One of the biggest challenges young people face today is the struggle to make independent choices without being constantly corrected or influenced by external forces. Whether it’s societal expectations, political systems, or social media pressure, there is often a feeling of being monitored or restricted in expressing oneself authentically. Achieving true personal freedom requires breaking away from these imposed limitations.
Do you have a message?
No, not at the moment.
