Treaty of Middelburg

Availability for change in political power, for everyone; immigration, war, segregation, and ethnocracy all starts with politics, politician respectively which has been not elected by fair choice or questionable system of governments. By giving the people the power to be able to make an impact on this would the first step towards freedom in the world.

Why do you want to participate?

I would like to know more about freedom from different perspectives, to broaden my view towards this and get a better bigger picture and understanding how much impact young people have and how politics shapes these. I have been notified by this by my older sister who is active in germany in young-immigrants-integration projects and have been in constant contact with her about it.

What does freedom mean to you?

As an immigrant myself, being raised in between two cultures it has a lot of meanings; the most obvious one is financial freedom which is able to afford time and leisure, furthermore political freedom or moreover freedom of speech which is empowering your voice and being able to make an impact with it, next would be academical freedom which means as much too me as the ability to broaden your perspective for everyone. lastly would be the most important one for me since that is the key of understanding and broaden your view towards any topic.

What are the biggest challenges?

It would be understanding and being able to make an impact; a lot of people, even in my circle, cannot differentiate types of freedom and put it all in one pot, being able to change this would be a big step towards empowering them; on top of that, a lot of young people do not feel that their voice is able to make a change, since they feel that they are just a single voice in an ocean of voices, to show young people that it is the essence of power to speak up, does not matter if they are the only one, would be a great addition, starting from young age in education all the way to when they grow up to young adults.

Do you have a message?

I would like to know more about how the decentralise power in a working matter and how a realistic out come would be in example for major powers.
