Treaty of Middelburg
I think it would be to stop the wars and help the people to live freely. I am from a country which was under war conditions for 30 years. Which was very hard as i lost two of my close friends and family member in the war. In my opinion it is very important to solve the problems between countries in a diplomatic way without wars. So freedom of security is very important for me and i would want to change the opinions of country leaders to be more diplomatic.

Why do you want to participate?
I always had interest in making a change in this world which is one of the reasons i joined UNICEF Team Utrecht where we are trying to make change everyday. This conference is very important for me as i want to learn more about other people opinions and how we can shape them to make an impact in this world.
What does freedom mean to you?
I think freedom for me is being able to make my own decisions and be authentic. Without that freedom i would be nothing as i am always trying to make my own path where i take risks and make my voice heard.
What are the biggest challenges?
I think one of the biggest challenges is fear of being judged. Young people have to fit into the impossible standards of he society. Where girls are expected to look after a family, always be skinny and deal with the male dominance. Boys are supposed to stay strong and be only breadwinner in the family. These kind of expectations do not let young people live freely. Also one of the challenges is the financial insecurity as it is very hard to find a job for young people. So youth is mostly dependent on their parents which makes them feel insecure.
Do you have a message?
I really love the idea of this conference and very glad there are people who are trying to make a difference so i can not wait to join the conference.
